Hello, Region 4, also known as the "Mother Region"!
Region IV is thrilled and honored to extend a warm welcome to all of you in the windy city of
Chicago, Illinois for the 2023 Region IV Fall Regional Conference. This weekend promises to be
an incredible journey as we continue to work toward fulfilling the NSBE mission. Let's come
together and celebrate our commitment to STEM excellence right here in the heart of the
Mother Region at the Fall Regional Conference.
The Regional Executive Board has put together an exciting weekend filled with opportunities for
membership growth, professional development, networking, and, of course, some fun-filled
events with our fellow NSBE members. Our theme for the 2023 Region IV FRC is "Engineering
CommUNITY," and we'll explore this theme at the beautiful Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago from
November 17-19, 2023.
Throughout the weekend, whether you're a Collegiate member, part of NSBE Jr., a
Professional, or representing our Corporate Partners, you'll have the chance to interact while
fostering a sense of family and community. We encourage all attendees to make the most of
this opportunity to connect with peers and build relationships within the NSBE community.
Our Fall Regional Conference offers a wide range of events. From a jam-packed career fair to
dynamic workshops, exciting competitions, and our Graduating Senior Reception/Apex
luncheon, there's something for everyone. Don't forget to absorb all the valuable information
shared during the Opening, General, and Closing sessions.
There's so much to anticipate, and we're counting down the days until we can meet in person.
FRC 2023 is the perfect platform to showcase our unity, and I'm eagerly looking forward to
seeing the familiar and new faces of my fellow Mother Region members.
As always,
Stay FO'Solid,
Philip Lawal
